Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join as a traveling Physical Therapist in Morgan Hill, CA working in an outpatient setting. Provide evaluations, develop and implement treatment plans, delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services, and design functional programs to support patients returning to community activities. Serve as an educator for patients, families, students, and coworkers. Maintain professional standards, uphold confidentiality, and support organizational safety and core values.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active California physical therapy license required to start the assignment.
• No new graduates. Minimum clinical experience required; applicant must have outpatient clinic experience.
• Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience with comprehensive patient evaluations, goal writing, documentation, and letters of medical necessity.
• Ability to supervise and delegate to therapy assistants and students. Experience participating in student programs preferred.
• Familiarity with safe patient handling and infection control practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in outpatient physical therapy settings treating orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions.
• Prior experience with electronic medical record documentation and charge entry.
• Engagement in continuing education and demonstrated professional development activities.

Assignment Details

• Shift pattern: 5x8.
• 40 hours per week.
• Clinician will work in an outpatient clinic and may be expected to follow clinic guidelines for appearance, attendance, and punctuality.

Complete comprehensive evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and document care in compliance with state, federal, and clinic policies. Provide safe, effective care under valid physician orders and within insurance approvals. Participate in performance improvement initiatives and contribute feedback to improve service quality. Maintain required licensure and adhere to the state Practice Act and professional codes of conduct.
