Job Description

Denny's Service Center is a family-owned and operated automotive repair shop in Southeast Michigan. Established in 1976, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality service to our community. We have 10 hoists between two buildings and a dedicated team of technicians, including our founder who continues to contribute his expertise. We are looking for a skilled Automotive Technician to join our growing team.

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair various vehicle issues, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections.
Utilize diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve problems efficiently.
Communicate effectively with the service advisor and sometimes customers about repair needs and options.
Ensure all work meets or exceeds industry standards and customer expectations.
Maintain a clean and safe workspace.

Requirements:

Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role.
Certifications from the state is required ASE as well is great.
Strong understanding of automotive systems and technology.
Proficient in the use of diagnostic tools and equipment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Valid driver's license.
