Denny's Service Center is a family-owned and operated automotive repair shop in Southeast Michigan. Established in 1976, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality service to our community. We have 10 hoists between two buildings and a dedicated team of technicians, including our founder who continues to contribute his expertise. We are looking for a skilled Automotive Technician to join our growing team.
Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair various vehicle issues, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
- Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve problems efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with the service advisor and sometimes customers about repair needs and options.
- Ensure all work meets or exceeds industry standards and customer expectations.
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role.
- Certifications from the state is required ASE as well is great.
- Strong understanding of automotive systems and technology.
- Proficient in the use of diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Valid driver's license.
