Personal Care Assistant

Job Summary Excell Private Care Services, established in 1996, is seeking a caregiver to provide supportive household and personal care services to members. Responsibilities Provide supportive household services including light housekeeping, laundry, and grocery shopping as outlined in the written plan of care. Prepare nutritious meals, including medically prescribed diets. Follow service plan goals and tasks, documenting observations and activities. Recognize and report any changes in client’s physical, mental, and social status to supervisor and agency staff. Perform care and services with minimal or no client or family complaints. Assist with personal care for advanced members per service plan goals. Assist with advanced supportive restorative (ASR) tasks with proper training from an LPN or RN as specified. Participate in agency activities: attend staff meetings, complete at least 12 hours of in‑services per year, and perform care hours as outlined on care plan. Stand, walk, and lift between 10-40 lbs. as required. Travel between members and run errands as needed. Qualifications No prior experience required; however, experience as a sitter, companion, or homemaker is a plus. The candidate must be willing to travel between members.
