Tech - X-ray/Rad Tech

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• 
  Perform and process X-rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment and transmit images to radiologists for interpretation.
  
  
• 
  Unload and set up portable X-ray equipment at facilities to obtain diagnostically quality images ordered by physicians.
  
  
• 
  Conduct EKG procedures when required and transmit results to cardiologists for evaluation.
  
  
• 
  Scan and submit exam-related paperwork and billing documents following protocol.
  
  
• 
  Maintain communication with dispatch and management regarding daily operations and workflow.
  
  
• 
  Ensure proper maintenance and safety of X-ray equipment and vehicle used for mobile services.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Valid state license and ARRT certification required.
  
  
• 
  Minimum one year of experience in mobile X-ray and EKG procedures preferred.
  
  
• 
  Valid drivers license in good standing.
  
  
• 
  Ability to lift and push/pull equipment weighing 50-100 lbs. with proper techniques.
  
  
• 
  Proven ability to operate digital radiography and EKG equipment efficiently.
  
  
• 
  Strong communication and professional interaction skills.
