Quick Facts Location: 400 West Mineral King Avenue, Visalia, CA 93291 Start Date: 12/31/2025 End Date: Open (Contract position) Shift: Pseudo laborist model (details based on facility) Hours/week: Full-time hours (specifics based on shift plan) Employment Type: Locum License/Certs: Active California Medical License, Board Certified/Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology Experience: Previous OB hospitalist experience preferred but not required Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $234.00 per hour Benefits: Competitive pay package Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable Paid sick time in accordance with all applicable laws What You’ll Do Provide OB hospitalist coverage including management of labor, delivery, and postpartum care Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care Respond to emergent and urgent OB/GYN situations within a Level III NICU environment Support anesthesia and emergency services in coordination with on-call providers Document patient care thoroughly and accurately Participate in residency rotations and community provider collaborations as needed Assist with emergent gynecological care when required What You Need Active California medical license and current DEA registration Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology Relevant experience in hospitalist or OB/GYN settings preferred Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to respond effectively to emergencies and support a team-oriented environment About the Assignment Join a prestigious hospital in Visalia, California, renowned for its commitment to women’s health and comprehensive obstetric care.
