What You’ll Do

As a Medical Assistant, you’ll play an important role in keeping the clinic running smoothly and providing excellent patient care.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Rooming patients and supporting clinic flow
• Assisting providers with patient care
• Administering immunizations, injections, and medications as directed
• Collecting laboratory specimens
• Performing phlebotomy and clinic laboratory testing
• Providing telephone and patient support
• Assisting with prescription refills
• Supporting prior authorizations
• Ordering and stocking supplies
• Providing front-desk/check-in support when needed
• Performing X-ray duties if appropriately qualified

✅ CMA Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (ABHES/CAAHEP) OR qualifying RMA program with required experience and certification
• Current BLS Certification
• Strong communication and patient-care skills

• Active Minnesota LPN/PN license
• Current BLS Certification
