Water/Fire/Mold Restoration TechniciansNow hiring Water/Fire/Mold Restoration Technicians for our New Hanover Franchise located in Hampstead, NC. Perform services as assigned, following SERVPRO® production guidelines. Communicate with the crew chief to make sure all customer needs are met. Support crew chief and other production personnel, as needed. Clean and maintain vehicles, equipment, warehouse, and office areas, as needed.ResponsibilitiesInventory and load the work vehicle with equipment, products, and supplies needed for each projectMaintain a clean and organized vehicle and clean equipment appearancePrepare affected rooms/areas for tear out and set equipment to start the drying processSet up staging area and equipment for each projectLeave job site with a clean and orderly appearancePerform production processes following SERVPRO® production guidelines for water, fire, & mold lossesEnsure clear two-way communication with crew chief and other technicians (especially regarding customer needs and concerns)Perform end-of-day/end-of-job cleanup and breakdown to leave job site with a clean and orderly appearanceUnderstand and follow safety and risk management guidelines on the job site, in the office, and while travelingQualificationsEffective oral communicationExperience in cleaning/restoration preferredHigh school diploma/GEDIICRC certifications preferred (but not required)Ability to travel locallyAbility to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable lawValid drivers licensePhysical and Work Environment RequirementsAbility to regularly lift 50 pounds and ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistanceExposure to chemicalsWalking and standing for long periods of time, driving, sitting, climbing,Ability to climb ladders and work at ceiling heightsAbility to work in tight spaces (e.g., crawls spaces under buildings)Repetitive pushing/pulling/lifting/carrying objects**Starting pay depending on experience**Compensation: $18.00 - $22.00 per hourWe are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
