Electro-Mechanical Technician

Saltera HR is partnering with a well-established and growing company in the advanced manufacturing and semiconductor industry to hire a skilled and detail-oriented Electro-Mechanical Technician .

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands-on experience in mechanical assembly, electrical wiring, equipment integration, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate enjoys working with precision equipment, interpreting technical drawings, and ensuring that complex electrical and mechanical assemblies meet strict quality standards.

• Perform electrical and mechanical assembly of equipment, components, and subassemblies according to engineering specifications.

• Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and work instructions.

• Install and connect electrical components, control panels, wiring harnesses, sensors, and mechanical hardware.

• Perform electrical wiring, cable routing, termination, and component installation.

• Assemble and align mechanical components using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.

• Conduct functional testing, inspections, and troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical assemblies.

• Identify and resolve assembly defects, wiring issues, component failures, and equipment malfunctions.

• Use multimeters and other diagnostic equipment to verify electrical connections and functionality.

• Ensure all assemblies meet engineering specifications, production requirements, and quality standards.

• Document completed work, inspection results, and identified issues.

• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams to resolve technical challenges.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in electro-mechanical assembly, electrical assembly, equipment manufacturing, or a related technical field.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of electrical components and systems.

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and technical documentation.

• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.

• Familiarity with electrical wiring, connectors, cable assemblies, and mechanical components.

• Basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise work instructions.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in semiconductor equipment manufacturing, aerospace, or precision manufacturing environments.

• Experience assembling electrical panels, control boxes, and integrated electro-mechanical equipment.

• Familiarity with pneumatic systems, sensors, switches, and control components.

• Experience using multimeters and electrical testing equipment.

• Knowledge of manufacturing quality standards and inspection procedures.

• Technical training or certification in electrical technology, mechatronics, industrial maintenance, or a related discipline.
