Patient Care Technician

Patient Care PartnerNo relocation assistance is providedUnder the direction of the Patient Care Manager and Charge Nurse, the Patient Care Partner is responsible for providing assistance to patients and families served by Saint Francis Healthcare System. The responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting patients with meal orders, delivering and collecting patient meal trays, documenting meal intake, restocking galleys, assisting with answering patient call lights, answering outside calls, and miscellaneous clerical duties. The PCP maintains a positive attitude when assuming tasks, works to achieve continuity of care from admission to discharge and works in accordance with the policies, procedures, philosophy and objectives of the Health System.Time Type: Full time (80 hours per 2 week pay period), with benefitsTypical Hours: Evening shift, 2:30pm to 11:00pm, 5 shifts per week, every other weekend and holiday rotation.Education:High School Diploma or GED- requiredCertification & Licensures:Current BLS certification- required within 30 days of hireExperience:Previous computer experience required.
