Travel Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | 36 Hours Guaranteed per Week | Evening Shift, 5x8s (2:30 PM – 11:00 PM) | On-Call Required

Key Responsibilities

• Perform circulating RN duties in a general operating room environment
• Support surgical procedures including general surgery, gynecology, urology, and robotic-assisted cases
• Maintain patient safety and advocate for the patient throughout the perioperative process
• Collaborate with surgical team members to ensure efficient and effective OR operations
• Participate in on-call coverage, including weekday and weekend call shifts with a 30-minute callback response requirement
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of OR nursing experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Demonstrated circulating experience in the operating room
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with robotic-assisted surgical procedures
• Background in general surgery, gynecology, and/or urology cases
• Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and team dynamics
