Job Description
As a Sushi Chef, you will play a vital role in preparing authentic sushi dishes while ensuring high standards of quality and presentation. You will work within a medium-sized team of 6 to 10 members and report directly to the Head Chef. Your expertise in sushi preparation and ingredient selection will contribute to an exceptional dining experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Prepare sushi and related dishes according to recipes and presentation standards
- Select and source fresh, high-quality ingredients for sushi preparation
- Present food attractively to enhance customer satisfaction
- Manage inventory to ensure the availability of essential sushi ingredients
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization to comply with health regulations
- Ensure strict quality control throughout the food preparation process
- Engage with customers to address questions and requests when necessary
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in sushi preparation
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in sushi making techniques
- Strong kitchen organization skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
