Job Description

As a Sushi Chef, you will play a vital role in preparing authentic sushi dishes while ensuring high standards of quality and presentation. You will work within a medium-sized team of 6 to 10 members and report directly to the Head Chef. Your expertise in sushi preparation and ingredient selection will contribute to an exceptional dining experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

Prepare sushi and related dishes according to recipes and presentation standards
Select and source fresh, high-quality ingredients for sushi preparation
Present food attractively to enhance customer satisfaction
Manage inventory to ensure the availability of essential sushi ingredients
Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization to comply with health regulations
Ensure strict quality control throughout the food preparation process
Engage with customers to address questions and requests when necessary
Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in sushi preparation

Preferred Qualifications

Proficiency in sushi making techniques
Strong kitchen organization skills
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work effectively within a team environment
