Dental Assistant - Pediatric

End your workday by 3 or 4 pm or earlier every day! Looking for a Dental Assistant to work with our Pediatric Dentist and assist our hygienists with our pediatric and special needs patients. We will train a medical assistant or surgical tech who agrees to earn their dental x‑ray certification within 6 months of starting. The candidate must have a great personality, love working with children of all ages and needs along with their parents, and be a team player. Our practice is fast‑paced where patients are seen every half hour. Assistant will assist the dentist, the clinical staff, and take initiative. Responsibilities include: Seat patients Take x‑rays Take clinical notes Explain treatment to parents Clean instruments Utilize digital imaging and charting Manage office dental supplies and organize the back office Schedule: Monday 7:30‑2 (Twice a month), Tuesday and Thursday 7:30‑4, Wednesday 10‑4, Friday 7:30‑2. In the summer we end the day at 3. Willing to train the right candidate. Requirements Must be able to pass a background check X‑ray certification (willing to train) Intermediate computer skills Pediatric and special needs experience preferred Pay and Benefits Pay is based on experience.
