Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:


- Perform MRI procedures in accordance with established protocols.
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge in radiographic procedures, including X-ray, Fluoroscopy, C-arm, and OR work.
- Practice radiation safety by adhering to ALARA standards.
- Operate imaging equipment per manufacturer's recommendations.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate with service engineers as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records in EHR, including billing for procedures and supplies.
- Flexibly assist in other modalities and support departmental needs with clerical duties, phone reception, and patient transport.
- Train and cross-train imaging staff members as directed.
- Manage inventory of supplies effectively.

Qualifications:


- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Successfully pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
- ARRT registered in Radiology (R), including CT and MRI.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtain within 90 days of hire.

Preferred Experience:


- Two years as a practicing Radiologic Technologist with experience in CT and MRI.
- Cross-training in other modalities such as DEXA and Mammography.
- Familiarity with electronic records, including PACS and RIS/HIS.
