Towncrest Pharmacy in Iowa City is seeking a full-time Pharmacist (part-time opportunities also available) to join our nationally recognized team. If you are passionate about building relationships with patients, expanding clinical services, collaborating with healthcare providers, and helping shape the future of community pharmacy, we'd love to meet you!

Core Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional patient-centered care
• Provide medication management and clinical consultations
• Collaborate with physicians, caregivers, and healthcare partners
• Administer immunizations, long-acting injectables, and other clinical services
• Support medication adherence and wellness initiatives
• Mentor pharmacy technicians and staff
• Contribute to quality improvement and practice development

 

Qualifications:

Required Skills and Experience:

• Active Iowa Pharmacist License or ability to obtain
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to patient-centered care
• Team-oriented approach to collaborative practice

 

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• CPR Certification
• Interest in implementing clinical services
• Passion for advancing the pharmacy profession
• Desire to grow in a community pharmacy setting

Schedule

• Monday – Friday: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
• Rotating Saturdays: 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM (every third to fourth)
• Position type: Full-time, with part-time available
• Start date: Immediate opening
