Join Komatsu and be part of something big! This position involves supervising all activities involved in the receiving, binning, picking, packing, and shipping of service parts for Komatsu. The scope includes all warehouse functions surrounding the efficient movement of service parts and operational supplies through the EDT Parts Warehouse. The role will supervise directly from 15-40 employees and all company assets and equipment that are appropriate.

Key job responsibilities include maintaining acceptable levels of productivity and quality within the department to ensure an efficient and profitable operation. Develop and maintain good safety and housekeeping procedures within the department in accordance with company policy and government regulations. Maintain an atmosphere of harmonious relations to prevent disputes from arising. If disputes do arise, act quickly to resolve them within company policies and government regulations. Provide training, guidance, and counseling to immediate subordinates. Administer established security procedures within the department for the protection of company assets. Cooperate with other departments to foster a teamwork philosophy. The job includes some weekend and evening hours. Conduct communication meetings for all levels and display sound judgment.

Qualifications/requirements include a 2-year degree, with a 4-year degree preferred, or 6 years' warehouse supervision or equivalent experience. Mid-level CRT/PC skills are required. Must embrace change as an opportunity. Effective people skills are necessary. Ability to delegate and prioritize is essential. Ability to analyze problems and make decisions for correction is required. Willingness to continue education, training through seminars, college, etc. An extreme sense of emergency is needed. Set high standards of performance for themselves and subordinates. Solve all problems using the Komatsu way.

Physical requirements include ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand, and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment, and read application information. The associate frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.

Hiring range at Komatsu is $64,640 - $80,800. The actual offer will consider a wide range of factors, including experience and location.
