The company's AI Marketer joins deep customer context with massive prompt data to surface opportunities worth acting on, then automates reporting, drafts content, audits pages for readability, and runs competitive research. Product managers here are true owners, not backlog administrators. They drive discovery, execution, and delivery end to end, bending the company's trajectory through frontier AI products.

The Role

This full-time, on-site role in Profound's Union Square, NYC office is designed for builders who thrive on speed, iteration, and meaningful impact. The Core Product team is hiring across several areas, and as a Product Manager you will own one end to end:

• Answer Engine Insights, Agent Analytics, and Prompt Volumes — analytics tools that help marketing teams understand their brand's performance on answer engines.
• Agent Platform — background agents, the agent builder, and projects where marketers build and orchestrate agents to execute strategies and automate operations.
• Vertical Solutions — built for new use cases and strategic customer segments across Shopping, Ads, self-serve, and agency workflows.

What You Will Do

• Craft the strategy and drive execution for one of Profound's core product areas end to end.
• Define how customers measure, understand, and improve brand performance across AI-powered answer engines — from prompt monitoring and competitive benchmarking to agent-driven automation and vertical-specific workflows.
• Expedite execution across engineering, design, data, and marketing by creating clarity, making decisions, and managing scope.
• Optimize the team for velocity and quality shots on goal.
• Be in front of customers every day for discovery, feedback, and selling.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Engagement teams to tell compelling stories to prospects and customers.

Who You Are

• 5+ years building excellent software products, ideally at a startup or fast-moving company.
• Domain expertise in one or more of: AI agent systems, LLMs, or prompt engineering; marketing analytics, data products, or BI tools; or ads, ecommerce, retail, agency workflows, or self-serve B2B SaaS.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams through ambiguity, create clarity, and push teams to ship product and drive impact.
• Strong product fundamentals with a spike in data, AI/ML systems, development, design, or enterprise go-to-market.
• Willing to roll up your sleeves — creating prototypes, writing SQL, evaluating model outputs, building dashboards, creating content, or responding to support tickets.
• An offensive mindset: you create and run toward opportunities, injecting energy into teams.
• Experience as a founder, working at an early-stage startup, or launching zero-to-one products is a plus.

Compensation

The expected base salary range for this role is $200,000 to $300,000 . Profound's total compensation package is designed to be competitive and includes base salary, equity, and a full range of benefits and perks.
