People & Culture Coordinator (Contract)

Boston, MA | Hybrid (4 days onsite, Fridays remote)

6+ Month Contract | $25-$33/hour

A well-established, rapidly growing organization is seeking a People & Culture Coordinator to join its Talent Acquisition and HR team on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build their career in Human Resources or Talent Acquisition while supporting a fast-paced, collaborative corporate environment. Strong performers may have the opportunity for contract extensions or permanent employment.

What You'll Do

• Coordinate a high volume of interviews, including virtual, onsite, and panel interviews
• Manage interview scheduling and calendar coordination for candidates and hiring teams
• Maintain and update applicant tracking system (ATS) records, job postings, and requisitions
• Respond to internal and external inquiries while providing exceptional customer service
• Assist with reporting, documentation, and HR administrative projects
• Support onboarding activities and other People & Culture initiatives as needed
• Help ensure a smooth and positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree required
• 1-2 years of experience in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Recruiting Coordination, or a related administrative role
• Strong experience scheduling interviews and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word
• Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS); iCIMS, Oracle HCM, or similar systems are a plus
• Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
• Professional, polished, and customer-service-oriented with a strong sense of urgency
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Position Details

• Hybrid schedule: 4 days onsite in Boston, Fridays remote
• Monday-Friday schedule (typically 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, with some flexibility based on interview schedules)
• Parking provided
• Competitive hourly rate based on experience
• Contract assignment with the potential for extension or permanent hire for top performers
