Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist

Summary You will serve as a Branch Head in the LREAF Logistics Branch (BL14600), Launch Recovery & Expeditionary Air Fields (LREAF) Division, ALRE Department of NAVAIRWARCENADLKE. Responsibilities You will lead and manage a branch of logistic personnel by planning work, ensuring execution, and monitoring employee performance. You will supervise, mentor, and develop employees by providing clear direction, coaching, identifying training, and providing feedback. You will manage branch funding and staffing profiles, ensuring the branch can execute demand requirements. You will resolve technical problems; review work; and provide findings, and/or researches answers to employees’ and/or supervisors’ questions. You will prepare and implement integrated logistics support (ILS) plans for DOW acquisition programs and in-service systems/equipment. You will assists in development of qualitative and quantitative analysis to substantiate logistics support policies, procedures, and concepts as well as to identify support system requirements. You will manage and direct the efforts of all logistics personnel providing life cycle product support to assigned system. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (NM-03/ GS 9-12) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing some or all of the following duties: 1) Leading multi-discipline teams responsible for the planning and execution of comprehensive life cycle acquisition and sustainment efforts to deliver aircraft launch and recovery equipment (ALRE), with a focus on C13 Steam Catapults, MK7 Arresting Gear, Air Capable Ships and Amphibious Assault Ships Launch and Recovery system, and Expeditionary Airfields; 2) Performing management functions to plan and execute the allocation of resources, development of personnel, training for knowledge required of personnel, direction of multi-functional work teams, and evaluation of performance within the logistics domain; 3) Collaborating with numerous stakeholders and organizations to address programmatic and logistical matters, understanding each stakeholder's requirement and providing information and solutions that meet their logistical inquiries and needs; 4) Supervising work, administering management policies and procedures, and coordinating functions across various groups to accomplish goals and objectives; 5) Ensuring guidance, processes, and tools are in place and utilized to enable personnel to effectively execute assigned work.
