This is a full-time, hybrid employment attorney role based in Los Angeles, CA. The attorney will manage a varied caseload of labor and employment matters, including class actions, PAGA cases, counseling employers on compliance, drafting and reviewing employment policies, and handling administrative agency responses. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting legal research, drafting and arguing motions, preparing pleadings and discovery, taking and defending depositions, and representing clients at hearings, mediations, and trials as appropriate. The role also involves working directly with clients to assess risk, develop litigation strategies, and provide practical advice on workplace issues such as wage and hour compliance, discrimination, harassment, and termination. The attorney will collaborate with colleagues to support firm-wide initiatives, contribute to legal updates or client alerts, and help maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
Qualifications :
6+ years of experience in labor and employment law practice, preferably representing employers.
Strong foundation in Law and Labor and Employment Law, with the ability to interpret and apply federal, state, and local employment regulations.
Hands-on experience in Employment Litigation, including case strategy, pleadings, discovery, and representation in hearings, mediations, or trial.
Proficiency in legal Research and drafting persuasive Motions and briefs for state and federal courts and administrative agencies.
Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of California (required).
Excellent written and oral advocacy skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and to communicate clearly and professionally with clients.
Juris Doctor from an accredited law school; strong academic record is preferred.
