The family currently has a three-year-old and they are expecting another baby due later this year. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who enjoys a combination of household organization, family support, and occasional childcare. The role will begin with a focus on household management and family assistance, with opportunities for additional childcare support over time as the family's needs evolve. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, dependable, and enjoys helping a busy household run smoothly. Requirements At least 21 years old Non-smoker/vaper Pediatric CPR / First Aid certified 3+ years of professional childcare, family assistant, household management, or related experience Up to date on flu and TDAP vaccinations Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and clean driving record Must be comfortable around dogs and willing to provide occasional pet care Responsibilities Assisting with school and daycare pickups Providing occasional childcare support as needed Preparing family meals, lunches, and snacks Grocery shopping and household errands Managing children’s laundry Organizing household spaces and helping maintain an efficient home Scheduling appointments and assisting with family calendar management Handling household tasks such as package returns and car services Packing and unpacking for family travel (no travel required) Helping with dog care including walks, feeding, and refreshing food and water as needed Providing general support to help the household run smoothly About the Family This is a kind, warm, and appreciative family looking for someone who will become a trusted part of their household. The family lives in a convenient area of Wayland and is looking for someone who enjoys being a helpful presence in a busy household. Position Details Location: Wayland, MA Schedule: Approximately 20+ hours per week, ideally Monday-Friday. The family is flexible with the exact schedule and is open to Monday-Thursday for the right fit. Hours will generally take place before 6:00 PM. Some childcare support may include school/daycare pickup around 5:30 PM.
