ROV Senior Pilot Technician (Offshore)

Overview Position: ROV Senior Pilot Technician Region: Americas General Description: Minimum 2 years of offshore ROV / Trencher / ROVDrill experience. Offshore operation, data recording, maintenance and repair of the system and ancillary equipment under the direction of the Superintendent / Supervisor. Responsibilities To ensure that all personnel under his/her supervision perform their tasks safely and efficiently in accordance with approved procedures and Canyon Offshore QHSE Policy and Objectives. To stand in as the system supervisor as and when directed by Canyon Offshore constraints. Stock-taking and inventory control of the system spares and consumables. Maintain system and project documents (e.g. inventory, weekly reports, dive logs, video logs, etc.) under the direction of the Superintendent or Supervisor. To provide "on the job" training where considered necessary. Attendance at, and when nominated, chairmen weekly safety meetings. To conduct system maintenance in compliance with Canyon Offshore Maintenance System. To ensure work area and equipment are kept clean and safe. To carry out other tasks as delegated by Canyon Project Manager or Superintendent. To cultivate and maintain a positive attitude with self and crewmembers. To apply safe work ethics.
