Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality inpatient obstetric and gynecological care, including managing active labor, routine deliveries, and emergency operative procedures (such as C-sections)
• Work a highly predictable schedule consisting of 144 hours of service per month (1,728 hours per year)
• Manage phone availability expectations aligned with designated hospitalist shift rotations
• Utilize a premier, fully integrated EPIC EMR system enhanced with advanced AI functionality to streamline documentation, clinical tracking, and patient workflows
• Function as the in-house clinical leader for obstetric emergencies, triage evaluations, and unassigned hospital admissions
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary hospital team, including maternal-fetal medicine specialists, pediatricians, and advanced practice nursing staff

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology with a clear plan for certification within a specified timeframe.
• Possession of or eligibility for an unrestricted Indiana Medical License and CSR/DEA registration
• Experience with or aptitude for utilizing EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools
• Strong communication skills and proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
