Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | Monday–Friday 6:45 AM–5:15 PM (4x10s) | 36 Hours Weekly Guaranteed | On-Call rotation required (6–8 calls per month, may include weekends)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care to surgical patients in a high-volume operating room environment
• Assist with a broad range of surgical specialties including General, Trauma, Orthopedic, Vascular, Gynecology, Urology, Bariatrics, and Thoracic procedures
• Support robotic-assisted surgical cases as part of the OR team
• Accurately document patient care activities and surgical records using Epic EMR
• Participate in the on-call rotation, which may include weekend coverage (approximately 6–8 calls per month)
• Adhere to facility dress code and departmental policies throughout the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience
• Active Virginia RN license or valid Compact RN license
• ACLS certification (American Heart Association only)
• BLS certification (American Heart Association only)
• Proficiency with Epic EMR — required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with robotic-assisted surgical procedures
• Exposure to multiple surgical specialties including Trauma, Orthopedic, Vascular, Bariatrics, and Thoracic
