We are seeking a skilled Diesel Service Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining company vehicles. • Perform diagnostics and repairs on diesel and gas engines, transmissions, hydraulics, suspension systems, and air brake systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, tire service, brake repairs, and alignment procedures.
• Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues.
• Fabricate parts or components as needed using welding, soldering, hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques.
• Maintain detailed service records and ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
• Work closely with the fleet manager and shop foreman to assure a reliable flow of information.

• Proven experience as a service technician with strong mechanical knowledge.
• Familiarity with automotive diagnostics.
• Proficiency in reading schematics and understanding electrical systems related to heavy machinery.
• Hands-on experience with fabrication, welding, soldering, tire service, and hydraulic repairs.
• Ability to lift heavy components safely and operate power tools effectively.
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance including air brakes, shocks & struts, HVAC systems, transmissions, and suspension components.
