Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Every other weekend required | 36 or 48-hour contract options available

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to adult medical and surgical patients, including those receiving oncology, palliative care, and urology treatment on a 29-bed unit
• Monitor and manage telemetry patients in accordance with unit protocols and scope of practice
• Perform and assist with specialized procedures including central line draws, port access, blood administration, PCA pump management, bone marrow aspiration assist, and Pleurx chest tube care
• Deliver chemotherapy administration and support family education regarding oncological processes
• Float within scope of practice to other areas of the facility as needed to meet staffing requirements
• Document all patient care accurately using Cerner electronic health records

Required Qualifications

• Active WV or Compact RN license (pending license accepted at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• ONCC or ONS certification required
• Proficiency with telemetry monitoring
• Permanent address greater than 100 miles from the facility (candidates 75–100 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Chemotherapy administration experience
• Prior oncology nursing experience (facility will consider strong candidates without oncology background)
• Familiarity with Cerner charting system
