Serves as full line supervisor of subordinate supervisory staff. Provides input into the development and implementation of Departmental programs, policies, and procedures within area of oversight. Establishes and implements a team-based program of staff development and training for subordinate and private agency staff. Explains and enforces agency policies and procedures, state and area statutes, and requirements. Represents the Department in various planning sessions with other public and private agencies Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above. Minimum Qualifications Requires an MSW or master's degree in a related human services field. Requires three years of progressively responsible administrative child welfare experience with an MSW OR four years of progressively responsible administrative child welfare experience with a master's degree in a related human services field. Conditions of Employment Requires ability to pass a background check. Requires ability to travel in the performance of duties. Requires appropriate, valid driver's license.
