Travel RN - Cath Lab/EP

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring a CO or compact RN license and at least 1 year of specialty experience.

Job Details

• Work in the Cardiac Cath Lab of a hospital setting,
• Day shift schedule, five 8-hour shifts per week (40 hours/week),
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications,
• May be required to take on-call during a regularly scheduled shift,
• Uses Epic for charting,

Job Requirements

• Active RN license (CO or compact) currently in hand,
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association,
• ACLS, NRP, or PALS certification as appropriate for the unit or service,
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the cardiac cath lab specialty required,
• ASN required; BSN preferred,
• Epic charting experience required,

Additional Information

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards,
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care, including health teaching and counseling,
• Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans and refer patients as needed for further evaluation,
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines,
• Returning staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment,
