Lindsay, Pickett & Postel, LLC is seeking a skilled Insurance Coverage Associate to join its growing Insurance Coverage practice within its Chicago office.

Lindsay, Pickett & Postel (LPP) concentrates in the areas of insurance coverage, insurance defense, and appellate litigation in Illinois and Wisconsin. We have earned a reputation for consistently providing great client service, developing efficient, creative litigation strategies, and delivering top results. Our coverage practice includes authoring coverage opinions, position letters, litigating declaratory judgment actions, and writing or reviewing policy language.

About the Role:

This role offers the opportunity to engage with a diverse range of insurance coverage matters, including both personal and commercial policies, and manage litigation in state and federal courts. The associate will research and prepare coverage opinions, communicate effectively with clients, and handle all phases of coverage litigation. Candidates with prior experience in coverage litigation are strongly preferred.

Qualifications:

Qualified candidates will have an excellent academic background, strong analytical, research, and writing skills, and the ability to manage cases from inception with minimal supervision. A minimum of 1-5 years of relevant experience is preferred, and familiarity with personal and commercial policies is a plus. A commitment to client service and effective communication is essential.

• Base salary commensurate with experience and beginning at $125,000.
