Medication Technician and Direct Care Worker Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Medication Technician and Direct Care Worker, where you will play a vital role in providing compassionate, patient-centered care to our residents. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring assistance with medication management and daily living activities, within a supportive and professional environment. Schedule is 7p-7a, working 2 nights a week and every other weekend equaling 72 hours bi-weekly with available pickup time if interested in overtime. Rate is 23.00 an hour and 1.00 shift differential Key Responsibilities Administer prescribed medications to residents accurately and in accordance with established protocols Monitor residents for any adverse reactions or side effects and report findings to healthcare professionals Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility Support residents in maintaining their independence and dignity Document medication administration and care activities thoroughly and accurately Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents Follow all safety, health, and confidentiality policies and procedures We foster a culture of respect, growth, and continuous learning. Requirements Must have High School Diploma/GED from the United States and Direct Care Worker Certificate or a CNA certification Valid Certification as a Medication Technician through the State of Pennsylvania with observations. Previous experience in a direct care role needed preferably in a personal care home setting but not required. Strong understanding of medication administration and safety protocols. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
