Outpatient Oncology Infusion Nurse

Role Overview: Provides direct patient care in an outpatient oncology setting, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, medication, and post-treatment needs. Responsibilities: Develops and documents individualized care plans, collaborates with the healthcare team, and ensures effective communication across care settings. Uses critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural values. Participates in activities promoting patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Engages in professional development and maintains a safe work environment.
