Operating Room Registered Nurse

Location: Anchorage, AK

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, with expected on-call duties.

Job Description: The Operating Room Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the surgical environment, serving as a patient advocate while ensuring the efficiency and safety of the sterile field. The RN will collaborate closely with surgical teams to support a variety of procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a circulator and resource for the sterile field.
• Assist in total joint surgeries, multi-level spine fusions, and Xi robotic cases.
• Participate in patient advocacy and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
• Manage and document patient care effectively during procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active Alaska RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certification.
• Experience in Orthopedics, Total Joints, Neurosurgery, and Robotics.
• Ability to participate in on-call shifts (averaging 5-6 weekdays and 1 weekend per month).
• Experience as a circulator and/or scrub preferred.
