Dispensary Agent Department: Sales Employment Type: Full Time Location: Garfield Heights, OH Reporting To: General Manager Compensation: $17.00 / hour Description The Dispensary Agent is a key team member at our dispensary and is responsible for providing unique customer service experiences, educational consulting, and in some cases patient record management The daily grind: Greet customers and patients with a smile and positive attitude. Assist customers and patients navigate through their cannabis education journey. Build lasting relationships with regular patients/customers to promote regular store visits. Partner with team members in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment. Provide patients and customers alike with information on types, methods, and efficacy of various cannabis products (we do not provide medical advice). Continue on-going cannabis education and training. Provide support to managers and other Dispensary Agents as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workstation/store front. Review online orders to ensure accuracy before pick-up. Understand and apply detailed compliance regulations as required by local and state laws. Stock, merchandise, and replenish displays of regulated and unregulated inventory. Process transactions at the POS and ensure the state monitored inventory system (METRC) accurately updates the amount of product available. Expected to be to work all scheduled workdays, during scheduled hours and report to work on time. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. 1-2 years of retail or hospitality (customer-facing) experience. Must be 21 years of age and able to register as a cannabis agent with the state. Capable of lifting up to 30 pounds unassisted, stand and walk in excess of 5+ hours per day. Ability to squat, kneel, bend over, and reach with little or no assistance. Comfortable working in a demanding high-volume, fast-paced retail environment. Desire to learn about cannabinoids, terpenes, and product application/consumption methods. Ability to use office equipment (computers and printers) and their included software i.e. Word, Excel, email, etc. Learn and understand Federal, State, and local laws relating to the cannabis industry and safety regulations.
