Role Overview
We are seeking skilled and dedicated online Mandarin Chinese tutors serving students in San Diego, CA to join our dynamic platform. Whether you're a seasoned Mandarin Chinese tutor or new to teaching, our flexible, fully remote model lets you set your own schedule, define your rates, and work one-on-one with motivated students over video, all from the comfort of your home.
Responsibilities
- Personalized Online Tutoring: Deliver one-on-one Mandarin Chinese sessions over video, tailored to each student's goals, level, and learning style.
- Conversational Fluency: Help students build real speaking confidence in Mandarin Chinese through guided conversation and pronunciation practice.
- Grammar & Comprehension: Strengthen grammar, vocabulary, and reading comprehension with lessons matched to each student's level.
- Progress & Accountability: Track each student's growth, assign practice, and keep them motivated session over session.
Requirements
- Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and prior experience teaching or tutoring the language.
- A reliable internet connection and a quiet space for online video lessons.
- Excellent communication skills to engage, motivate, and effectively teach students of all levels.
