This position is in-office and located in Silver Peak, Nevada.**What You Will Do**The Environmental Professional is responsible for ensuring that the Silver Peak site is in compliance with all applicable regulations and corporate policies. Areas of responsibility include:(1) disposal and management of waste products,(2) reclamation of land disturbed by the operation,(3) compliance and mitigation of the sites impact to wildlife(4) control and mitigation of pollutants and effluents (Air/Water) that have an adverse impact on the natural environment,(5) management of special purpose grants and licenses to continue operation,(6) conducting root cause investigations and establishing corrective actions,(7) conducting internal audits,(8) conducting process hazard analysis,(9) assisting in managing a Management of Change system,(10) working with the HSE manager and corporate HSE to fill any gaps in knowledge of environmental management or process safety.**What You Bring****Required:*** Experience with MSHA or OSHA compliance* 2+ years of experience in chemical manufacturing, petroleum industry or mining* B.S.
