Plan, prepare and deliver instructional activities. Create a positive educational climate for students. Meet course and school-wide student performance goals. Modify Tier I instructional material accordingly throughout the year. Maintain electronic grade books. Utilize various curriculum resources. Integrate curricula that reflect the diverse educational, cultural, and linguistic backgrounds of students. Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities. Observe and evaluate student’s performance. Manage student behavior in the classroom by invoking approved disciplinary procedures. Participate in department common planning time. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree; Master’s preferred. Possess a MA teaching license, including SEI endorsement. Knowledge of current teaching methods, educational pedagogy, and differentiated instruction based upon student learning styles. Ability to think critically, problem-solve, backward plan, analyze; use data and prioritize the needs of the student. Teaching experience with a proven track record of producing dramatic achievement gains is ideal.
