Registered Nurse - Night Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

This position requires a night shift schedule, with the potential for on-call work as needed.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse works collaboratively with other healthcare team members to assess patient needs, implement care strategies, and ensure quality outcomes. The RN will also engage in patient and family education, while displaying a willingness to float to other departments as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health concerns.
• Analyze assessment data to determine appropriate nursing diagnoses.
• Develop individualized plans of care aimed at achieving expected outcomes.
• Implement nursing interventions and evaluate patient responses.
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients.
• Engage in ongoing education to enhance nursing practice and meet professional standards.
• Collaborate with family and other health professionals in care planning and implementation.
• Provide leadership and contribute to the development of peers and colleagues.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Montana Licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• STABLE certification required within two years of hire.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program Certification with recertification required every 2 years.
• Experience in Labor and Delivery (antepartum, intrapartum, preoperative, circulate, PACU) preferred.
