Embedded Software EngineerSeeking a proficient Embedded Software Engineer to apply computer science and mathematical principles in designing, developing, testing, and evaluating embedded software and systems across various applications including medical, industrial, military, and communications. Responsibilities include software development, machine embedded software feature development, integration of software from models and libraries, software validation, and defect resolution.Hard SkillsModel-based development using Matlab/SimulinkEmbedded C software developmentKnowledge of real-time operating systemsExperience with software development tools such as Git, debuggers, and compilersSoft SkillsProblem-solving skillsAttention to detailStrong communication skillsThis is a contract position requiring some days on-site in Chillicothe, Illinois and some days remote.Hybrid work environment utilizing standard embedded software development tools including Matlab/Simulink, an IDE, debuggers, and Git.
