Basic Job Functions Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; candidates must demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times. A demonstrated ability to generate quotation packages and final detail packages for complex rack systems including selective rack, cantilever, dynamic systems, drive‑in rack, and pick modules. Create system approval drawings, permit drawings, fabrication drawings, and installation drawings for customers as needed during the quotation and order phases. An understanding of how to interpret engineering calculations to help design systems, basic math to calculate system weights, and an expert grasp of graphic standards. Collaborate and communicate with outside customers as well as internal customers such as Sales, Engineering, Production, and Project Management to support successful client projects.
