This position allows for a remote work setting, enabling you to provide therapeutic services from the comfort of your home or any preferred location within California. The clinic operates from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., creating a structured schedule while offering work-life balance for our therapists.

Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' mood disorders, assessing the intensity, frequency, and duration of symptoms to create tailored treatment plans.

  • Implement evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively address client needs.

  • Engage clients and their families in educational discussions about mood disorders, treatment options, and the importance of self-care strategies.

  • Regularly monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, fostering ongoing communication to ensure optimal outcomes.

  • Collaborate with psychiatrists and healthcare professionals to provide integrated care and comprehensive treatment approaches.

  • Stay updated with the latest research and developments in mental health to enhance therapeutic practices.

  • Ensure accurate documentation of client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, maintaining confidentiality at all times.

Qualifications\n

  • A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

  • A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is essential for this role.

  • Experience with various therapeutic modalities, including structural family therapy, strategic therapy, narrative therapy, and transgenerational approaches.

  • Specific focus or experience in divorce and relationship counseling is highly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

  • Annual salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000 , based on qualifications and relevant experience.
