Parks and Facilities Irrigation Lead - Centennial, CO Jacobs is seeking an experienced Parks and Facilities Maintenance Irrigation Lead Technician based in Centennial, CO. The role involves performing preventative maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting on all types of irrigation equipment for parks and facilities at client sites. Candidate must have 5-7 years of related experience and be a self‑motivated professional able to complete complex tasks with limited supervision. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform a wide variety of preventative and routine maintenance duties on installed electrical, plumbing, and clock‑activating equipment. Perform equipment observations and adjustments using installed monitoring programs, such as high and low‑flow alerts notifications. Perform preventative maintenance inspections on the client’s irrigation systems. Read and understand blueprints and/or schematic diagrams and provide input to client and contractors. Coordinate run‑time schedules for the facilities and parks depending on projects and scheduled events. Provide manual labor associated with field services for facilities and parks including sidewalk snow removal, splash pad water‑quality testing and operations, litter pickup, and daily facilities and grounds inspections. Perform parking lot snow removal for Centennial Civic Center and Eagle Street facility. Provide support for sidewalk snow removal adjacent to arterial roadways within the City of Centennial. Perform after‑hours on‑call responsibilities for the division as scheduled by the Facilities Manager. Follow safety procedures, report unsafe activities and conditions, utilize safety equipment, and monitor the work environment to ensure employee and other individuals’ safety as part of Jacobs Beyond ZERO safety culture program. Mentor and provide training for Irrigation Maintenance Technicians. Perform other similar duties as assigned. Requirements High School Diploma or GED. Minimum five years of experience in facilities maintenance, including parks and facilities irrigation experience. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook, and the ability to acquire proficiency in the Workflow Management System as necessary. Strong interpersonal relationship skills with the ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with other employees, government officials, contractors, suppliers, and the public. Current State driver’s license with no major infractions, and ability to personally drive a company vehicle in the performance of the duties contained herein.
