** Job Summary **

The Bookkeeper is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records across Riga Construction and its affiliated entities. This role handles accounts payable, bank deposits, account reconciliations, payroll, tax payments, and office supply ordering, and requires strong attention to detail, discretion with confidential financial information, and the ability to manage multiple entities and deadlines simultaneously.

** We're specifically looking for someone who is extremely efficient and highly proficient in QuickBooks — this is a core, non-negotiable requirement for the role. **

** Key Responsibilities **

** Riga Construction **

• Reconcile all store accounts, enter all bills for payment, pay bills, print checks, and mail checks

• Collect post office mail and prepare and make bank deposits

• Perform account reconciliations

• Process Riga Construction payroll

• Review and edit ClockShark time entries

• Prepare and remit Riga Construction tax payments and quarterly filings

• Order office materials and supplies as needed

** What We're Looking For **

• Extremely strong, hands-on proficiency in QuickBooks — required

• Prior bookkeeping or accounting experience, ideally across multiple entities or properties

• Experience processing payroll

• Familiarity with time-tracking software such as ClockShark is a plus

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to manage overlapping deadlines across multiple entities

• Discretion and integrity in handling confidential financial information

• Comfortable making occasional trips to the bank and post office

• Reliable, responsive communicator
