Job Description:
We are seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect to support cloud modernization and data center transformation initiatives for a Texas state agency.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience designing cloud and hybrid environments , leading technical initiatives, and implementing scalable, secure cloud solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design cloud architecture, infrastructure, and technical solutions.
- Lead cloud migration, modernization, and transformation initiatives.
- Work with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms.
- Implement Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD solutions.
- Design secure, scalable, and highly available cloud environments.
- Support APIs, microservices, serverless infrastructure, and cloud integrations.
- Develop architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and standards.
- Collaborate with technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership.
Requirements
- 15+ years of cloud/technology architecture experience.
- Strong experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP .
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, LAC, and CI/CD .
- Knowledge of cloud security, governance, monitoring, and compliance.
- Experience with automation using Ansible, PowerShell/Bash, YAML, JSON, or HCL .
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
