Ozark Physical Medicine Center for Operations Respiratory Therapist (Healthcare) Position Summary We are seeking a compassionate, knowledgeable, and patient-focused Respiratory Therapist (RT) to join our Durable Medical Equipment (DME) team. The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for providing respiratory equipment, education, and clinical support to patients in the home and clinic setting. This position ensures patients receive appropriate respiratory care while complying with physician orders, Medicare guidelines, accreditation standards, and company policies. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assess patient respiratory equipment needs based on physician orders. Set up, deliver, and instruct patients on the proper use and maintenance of respiratory equipment, including: CPAP/BiPAP devices Oxygen concentrators and portable oxygen systems Nebulizers Suction equipment Ventilators (if applicable) Pulse oximeters and related respiratory equipment Educate patients and caregivers on respiratory disease management and equipment safety. Perform mask fittings, CPAP compliance follow-up, troubleshooting, and therapy adjustments as allowed by physician orders and company policy. Review physician documentation for completeness and compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance requirements. Coordinate with physicians, case managers, hospitals, home health agencies, and nursing facilities regarding patient respiratory needs. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR). Monitor patient compliance and communicate concerns to the prescribing provider. Ensure all equipment is sanitized, maintained, and meets regulatory standards. Participate in quality assurance and accreditation activities. Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, ACHC/Joint Commission standards, and company policies. Participate in on-call rotation as assigned. #J-18808-Ljbffr
