Branch Leader

As the Yorktown Branch Leader & Consulting Arborist, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of tree care in the Yorktown community. This hands-on leadership and sales role is ideal for experienced tree-care professionals or local business owners seeking to focus on client relationships, operational excellence, and team leadership—without the burden of managing every back-office task alone. Supported by an established team, you will guide clients, coordinate crews, and oversee projects from initial consultation through completion, all while contributing to a collaborative, safety-focused, and supportive workplace culture.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to assess trees and landscapes, providing tailored recommendations and expert advice.
• Deliver a seamless client experience from consultation through project completion and payment.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through responsive communication and excellent service.
• Achieve individual sales goals and help expand Truetimber’s presence in the Yorktown market.
• Contribute field knowledge to client education and company content.
• Dispatch crews, coordinate daily schedules, and manage equipment and job requirements.
• Maintain a strong field presence to support crews and uphold high standards of safety and quality.
• Oversee job quality, ensuring work is completed efficiently, safely, and professionally.
• Lead, coach, and motivate production crews, fostering a positive and productive team environment.
• Track job progress and align production with revenue targets.
• Optimize crew and equipment utilization to improve productivity.
• Serve as the primary connection between field crews and office staff.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, workforce rules, and industry safety standards.
• Oversee projects from sale through collection, with support from the broader Truetimber team.

Qualifications

• At least 3–5 years of professional tree-care experience.
• Experience selling tree work and developing trusted client relationships.
• Experience managing or supervising field crews.
• Strong working knowledge of arboricultural practices, tree-care operations, and equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and inspire teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with job costing, production goals, and revenue tracking.
• Excellent communication, organization, judgment, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Preferred: CDL, ISA Certified Arborist credential, and/or TCIA Certified Treecare Safety Professional (CTSP) credential.

Compensation

$75,000–$85,000 base salary plus 3% commission on general tree work sales and 5% commission on plant health care sales.
