Position Overview Provides direct nursing care in accordance with organizational policies, procedures, and protocols. Implements, monitors, and communicates patient care plans and conditions. Acts as the primary coordinator for multidisciplinary patient care. Follows physician and nursing orders and assesses discharge planning needs with the healthcare team. Requirements Current or eligible RN licensure by the Alabama Board of Nursing. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification obtained within 30 days of hire, accepted from American Heart Association or Red Cross. Diploma from an accredited nursing school and professional licensure at time of hire. Additional Information Multiple shift options available, including day, night, and weekend shifts, with opportunities for bonuses. Work location is UAB St. Vincent's East.
