The CHB Operations Associate is responsible for coordinating and executing shipments to ensure service levels of clients are met on a daily basis. This role supports a small group of client accounts by expediting their shipments from start to finish, developing familiarity with their import programs and products, and coordinating file processing with team members and other Company work groups. Key Responsibilities Providing customer service to assigned customers and assisting customers with questions and requests for information. Processing Customs entries and PGA for clearance of goods, ensuring full compliance with all Customs and PGA regulations. Opening entry files and subsequently processing entries according to outlined KPIs. Coordinating clearance of shipments with forwarders, steamship lines, and airlines to ensure shipments are released timely. Completing customer billing and/or other required reports. Completing tracking and tracing for inbound shipments. Coordinating operations for shipments from airline, ocean piers, and CFS (container freight station) to customer/consignee destination. Ensuring that the required documentation/entry package is uploaded into the operating system. Maintaining customer SOPs and making updates as needed. Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of CHB experience. 6‑12 months of experience in the industry. Cargo Wise experience highly desired. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate confidently. Persistently drives issues to closure. Well organized, detail oriented—especially when working under pressure. Works together with others in the business unit to achieve results, fostering teamwork. Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment. Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required, or equivalent work experience. Customs House Brokerage license preferred but not required. Salary $52,000 - $56,000* Benefits Full‑time employees are eligible for Health Insurance, Paid Time Off, and 401k Match. * The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for this position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
