Summary The Greeter is responsible for welcoming guests to the hotel, hospital, casino, or local area in a friendly, efficient, and courteous manner and for assisting with guest inquiries, directions, and initial questions regarding the facility or services. Essential Functions Maintains a pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with all guests, patients, co‑workers, and clients. Acknowledges and greets guests or patients with a professional and friendly demeanor. Answers the telephone promptly and politely within client/TownePark standards, using the salutation of the day. Demonstrates willingness and ability to assist others, monitoring and responding to emergencies on a priority basis. Practices proper client and/or TownePark phone etiquette and assists visitors with directions, information, and other inquiries. Provides guests or patients with information about outlets, meeting rooms, or amenities of the facility as well as main attractions in the area, ensuring patient and business confidentiality at all times. Delivers messages, items, and/or amenities as requested. Reports all accidents and incidents observed on shift to the Guest Service Coordinator or Account Manager immediately, uses only trained equipment, and operates all equipment safely. Is knowledgeable of hospital disaster codes and response plans and follows client SOPs for disaster codes and response plans. Uses a balanced allocation of time (total 100%) across all responsibilities. Qualifications Education: High school diploma or GED. Licensure/Certification: Must be at least 18 years old and able to pass a criminal background and drug screen. Work Experience: One to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge: Knowledge of equipment such as telephones, codes and alarms, two‑way radios, disaster phone, fire panel and surveillance systems. Skills: Ability to read, speak, and write standard English; read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence; understand 24‑hour and military time systems; perform general typing and basic computer skills; prioritize tasks and remain calm in stressful situations. Scope of Authority The role follows established practices and procedures, operates within departmental guidelines, and makes decisions within specific operational instructions. Errors in judgment could affect the smooth and efficient operation of the department. Compensation & Schedule Hourly base pay range: $16.50 per hour. Work schedule: Monday to Friday, AM and PM shifts. Benefits Accident insurance, critical illness insurance, hospital indemnity insurance, and telemedicine benefits.
