Operations Manager

POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS) The Operations Manager oversees the contractor's labor force and deploys resources, tools, materials, and parts to ensure all contract requirements for comprehensive facility support (CFS) are met. This role manages day-to-day O&M activities for large facilities, coordinating staff and resources to ensure efficient, safe, and quality service delivery. Resource and Labor Management: Direct, schedule, and dispatch staff and resources to meet contract requirements. Authorize use of materials, manpower, and equipment. Service Delivery Oversight: Ensure contract and task order compliance through active supervision and reporting. Identify and address operational challenges proactively. Stakeholder Engagement: Interface with client representatives to ensure consistent and responsive service. Implement best practices and organizational improvements. Working Conditions: Mix of office and field work; may require overtime or emergency response. Physical Requirements: Able to move around large facilities as needed. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Secret Clearance required. Associate's degree or equivalent training/certification in O&M or Facilities Management. Minimum fifteen (15) years' experience in related O&M support services and/or Facilities Management. Minimum five (5) years' experience in large facility/operations support.
