Mancan is looking for a Surface Grinder for a Metal Stamping Company in Brunswick!
1st ShiftMonday-Friday
6am-3pm
$20+/hr. Based on experience!
OT on Saturdays when need The Surface Grinder will be responsible for setting up and operating grinding machines to produce precision parts. Key duties include maintaining a safe, organized work environment, running multiple machines as needed, and performing quality inspections. The role requires machining experience (conventional or CNC preferred), blueprint reading skills, and proficiency in using measuring equipment like micrometers and calipers. Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as the ability to work with metric dimensions and perform preventative maintenance on equipment. Job Requirements are as follows: Experience with Surface Grinding of Soft/Hardened plates and blocks to .001 tolerances while maintaining squareness and flatness
Experience with a Chevalier Wet Grinder a PLUS
Experience with A-2, D-2, 4142, Vanadius, CPM material types
Blue print reading
Environment is climate controlled and crane assisted
Must be comfortable lifting 60+ lbs.
