Construction Manager

$150,000 - $180,000 Base Salary + Bonus + Benefits My client is a growing Southern California contractor specializing in fueling, petroleum, convenience store, retail, and commercial construction projects. They are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee construction operations, lead project teams, and help drive continued growth across the business. This is a senior leadership role responsible for managing Estimators, Project Managers, Superintendents, and field teams while ensuring projects are successfully delivered from preconstruction through closeout. Responsibilities Oversee multiple construction projects from estimating and preconstruction through completion. Lead and mentor Estimators, Project Managers, Superintendents, and field personnel. Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Review project estimates, budgets, schedules, contracts, and overall performance. Coordinate resources across projects and support operational planning. Build and maintain strong client relationships and serve as a key representative of the company. Assist with business development efforts and help secure new work opportunities. Drive team performance, accountability, and continuous improvement across the organization. Qualifications 10+ years of construction management experience. Proven experience managing teams and overseeing multiple projects simultaneously. Strong background in one or more of the following sectors: Fueling Stations Petroleum Construction Convenience Stores (C-Stores) Quick Service Restaurants (QSR) Retail Construction Experience managing projects from pursuit and estimating through final closeout. Strong understanding of budgeting, scheduling, contracts, and construction operations. Client-facing and business development experience preferred.
